Thank you

My fellow scribes, I want to thank you for the inspiration you have given me. I did my best to try to tackle shading, and this latest detail from a scroll for Lady Genevieve, is the result. I still have a long way to go, but I am pleased to see improvement!

All elements and construction are based on the Codex Manesse.

I think you've done a nice job! Shading and them pesky folds are not the easiest things! I very much like the draping on the pink dress! Looks like that is the one where you were "in the groove" At one scriptorium I attended several years ago there was a class that was all about draping fabric... and the exact names for each type of fold or drape.. fascinating stuff. I think I still have the printout for the class if you would be interested in seeing it!

Cool! Drop me an email with your mailing address and I'll send you a copy... I would scan it but my scanner is dead and I don't know when it will be up and running, so methinks snail mail would be easiest!

Cheers! Trin
