Scribal Spotlight for October

Yeah I know it's a bit early but....I don't know if I will have internet in the next two weeks sooooo...

This month's Spotlight is on Lady Aryanhwy merch Catmael

Lady Aryanhwy merch Catmael lives in Caermyrdin, Wales, in
the early 11th century. The only child of a minor lord,
she married young to another minor lord, with whom she ha
three children before he was killed in a scrap with the
Vikings. Now she runs her household, raises her children, and
occasionally visits London in the late 13th century.

Sara Uckelman joined the SCA a few months before her 14th
birthday, and has been a member for over 12 years. In
July 2008 she became the Pelican Queen of Arms, one of
the three chief heralds in the SCA, and spends most of her
evenings researching and writing articles on medieval
names and naming practices. By day, she is a Ph.D.
candidate working on a dissertation in medieval logic,
which she hopes to defend in June 2009. A support staff
of a wonderful husband and two cats keeps her from going
too crazy.

if you are interested in being in the scribal spotlight send your details to me ( address in sidebar).

Oooooohhh... Medieval logic... that sounds both interesting and tedious as the same time! ... and still you find time for scrolls! Yay!
