It seems it's a difficult paper to obtain in some places even though it's made in Italy. Anyway here is a nice link
http://www.paperideas.it . It is the Fedrigoni site for their paper. It's customer friendly and you can request samples. It comes in multiple languages (it, ger, eng, fr, spanish) and is a good over view of what this particular paper company offers.

I have always had good experiences when dealing with them and we all love he paper. So if you are having issues obtaining Pergamenata through conventional means I suggest trying out this site, seeing if you can get some samples or contact the local contact given ( on the side bar) You will probably have to create an account with them but they don't spam you and the benefits are great.

Bridget- who still has some pergamenata for sale.

If you're in the UK I've never had difficult in obtaining it from Cornelissen's in London. £1.95 per sheet.

They do mail order, too, so if you google them they should be able to help.

From the website, what you want would be the Naturale colour, 160gsm. 110 would be a bit thin for scrolls. (office paper is 80gsm).

If you don't mind cutting your paper down from a HUGE sheet, around the corner from Cornelissen's (and cheaper), is the Shepherd's bookbinders / Falkiners. 76 Southampton Row. They also sell low to medium quality skins downstairs, either deer or goat, try picking out something not too yellow. Have fun!

Hiyas Nerissa, I added a link to this shop on the side bar under places for scribes to shop.

If anyone else has scribe shop suggestion from around Europe and beyond by all means send me a link, the more places we have to shop the better.
