more fun with gold
I don't really have the proper tools for tooling gold and it's tricky on the sugar gesso but occasionally it does work. This is a blank I've been working on that I think will become a Rose scroll, it's pretty and has lots of bling.

Question - did you tool the gold after you laid it, or did you tool the gesso and then laid the leaf on the top?
afterwards. The gesso is too sticky before the gold is on it.
