latest endeavour
Okay so I have been working..slowly..on a christmas gift for a dear friend of mine ( yes the christmas we just went through) and I am still working on it. Acanthus leaves are a pain in the butt!
But I thought I would share!

Isn't it just amazing how a bit of shade and highlight turns garish to gorgeous in but a few strokes...
Seriously, it is a great illustration of which steps come first, and the shading toward the bottom is just superb. I'm sure whomever is getting that will be thrilled! --Lia
