just because it's cute

I was looking through the Wikimedia commons for a good public-domain image of an MS to use in a conference flyer, and found this guy (in British Library Sloane 748, folio 131, dated 1487):

and had to share him. I love medieval depictions of elephants, with their hoover-trunks. So cute!
